The HoC has some wonderful offerings for the upcoming summer season.
Attention Teens! Paid Learning Opportunity!
Pathways to Success is a fabulous summer program put on by HoC that helps to give teens the skills they need to enter the job market. This is a PAID opportunity (yes, paid!) for Middle School and High School students entering grades 8-11.
This opportunity covers job preparation essentials such as:
- Resumé building
- How to search for a job
- Interview tips
- Budgeting techniques
- Mental health skills
In addition to skill building, you’ll get on-the-job experience working in different sectors including:
- Retail
- Trades
- Technology
- In-Office
Build confidence and prepare for the career world. And get PAID! Talk about win-win!
Who can apply?
Students who have completed grades 7, 8, 9, or 10 (entering grades 8-11 this fall). They absolutely don’t need to know ‘what they want to be when they grow up’, we’ll help with that!
Don’t miss out on this opportunity! There are limited spaces available, so apply now!
Let’s Play!
If you’re looking for fun ways to move your body, we’ve got you covered!
