Mike Linger

Executive Director
Brief info

Mike is an Ordained Elder in the United Methodist church and holds a Doctorate of Ministry degree from United Theological Seminary. He has served in a pastoral role for 30 years before becoming the Director of the House of the Carpenter.

Mike brings a pastor’s heart with his experience in local mission and ministry as well as being part of mission teams nationally and internationally. He has used his understanding of the needs of the people, his experience in mission, and his role as an administrator to create an atmosphere of nurture and understanding to those we serve. Mike also serves as part of the faculty for the West Virginia Course of Study program of the United Methodist Church.

As the Executive Director, Mike is intentional about helping our neighbors through ministries of mercy but also offering opportunities for transformation and spiritual formation. Mike directly oversees our weekend backpack feeding program with Madison Elementary School, Christmas food boxes, and the annual potato drop event, in addition to Early Response Team efforts, Homes of Promise with Habitat for Humanity, work team projects, the youth art class, and our involvement in the United Way Day of Caring event.
