Mike brings a pastor’s heart with his experience in local mission and ministry as well as being part of mission teams nationally and internationally. He has used his understanding of the needs of the people, his experience in mission, and his role as an administrator to create an atmosphere of nurture and understanding to those we serve. Mike also serves as part of the faculty for the West Virginia Course of Study program of the United Methodist Church.
As Executive Director, Mike is intentional in his efforts to help our neighbors by finding ways to address their basic human needs while also providing opportunities that open doors to a brighter future. Hope is essential to the work of the House of the Carpenter. Mike directly oversees our archery program, our work teams which build handicap accessible ramps, Christmas food distribution, and our disaster response program, and shows his support for all of our other programs as well.”
