After graduating from Brooke High School in 1996, Jackie attended West Liberty University. In 2002, she completed her Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education with specializations in Mathematics and Special Education. While actively engaged in her teaching career, she went on to complete a Master’s Degree in Multi-Categorical Special Education at West Virginia University in 2006. Teaching and helping others, especially young people, has been a continuous passion throughout her life. Having lived on Wheeling Island for 12 years, working at The House of the Carpenter allows her to be involved in her immediate community in many capacities, each of which are unique and rewarding.
