House of the Carpenter: Our Mission

We Serve Body, Mind, & Soul

At the House of the Carpenter, we draw inspiration from the scriptures found in the Old and New Testaments. As Christians, we are particularly motivated by the teachings of Jesus. Just like Jesus, we minister to the whole person. Our ministries impact the entire human experience:

  • Physical wellbeing
  • Mental and emotional growth
  • Spiritual health

No matter where you are on the journey of life, we’re here to walk beside you. We help our neighbors meet immediate needs, thrive as people, and grow in their relationship with God.

Our ministries are open to people in Wheeling and throughout the Upper Ohio Valley. We welcome individuals, families, and neighbors into a safe community filled with grace.

As a non-profit organization we serve all people regardless of race, gender, orientation, religious affiliation, or nationality.

Food, clothing, and shelter: These are the most basic things we need to survive. No one should have to go without these essentials. When your wellbeing is threatened, the House of the Carpenter is here to help.

We serve the local community in Wheeling and the Upper Ohio Valley.
